The original vision for Six Degrees Marketing evolved from work done by Donnie Henderson, an internet marketing professional/web designer and Randy Lee, a software developer/project manager with a background in web and database applications.

Donnie and Randy, while working on a large web project in 2005, discovered an interesting difference in the way designers and developers approach web solutions. While web designers excel in their ability to communicate with people visually through their design and messaging, software developers often focus solely on technology, finding and/or building the best tools to make businesses run more effectively. In practice, these mindsets are so different that they are rarely both applied to a single project. When the two combined their talents and experience, however, the outcome was software that not only had visual impact but a full range of functionality – the very definition of a great internet tool. Donnie and Randy saw that they could apply this methodology and help clients improve their internet presence and build their businesses. Six Degrees Innovations was formed in 2009 to support this vision.

Since then, the company has changed its focus and name to be more marketing-centric. Six Degrees Marketing has its headquarters located in Anderson, SC with satellite offices in Greenville and Greenwood. Our team includes almost 60 years of combined expertise in sales, marketing, technology, and business process. Our client list includes over 50 local and national companies.
